Again, I missed a week and a few athletes. I am really really sorry as I do not want any VMS athletes hard work to go unrecognized, we are just trying to figure out the "flow".
First up from last weekend Congrats to Todd “PB” at Ironman Boise 70.3. Todd went 4:56 and finished in a very solid 101st in
the overall. It still amazes me how competitive certain age groups are
and the M30-34 and M35-39 is just silly fast. Keep up the great
work…very happy for you!!! - Shawn
Last weekend, Travis raced in the Ocala Cycling race and won the Overall...his first overall win. It was 3 races and it included a TT. He raced really smart and took it home! - Shawn
Then this weekend we had a big showing at BFAST :
Drew Heideman and Kerry Mowlam did their "normal" thing and stormed the local tri scene with a 3rd over all and a 1st place AG (6th OA) respectively
Gail Long and her husband Clay scratched off a big "to do" this weekend. They are now both TRIATHLETES!
Rounding out the weekend was Tia Wigham with a 12min PR in her first tri of the season.
WAY TO GO EVERYONE THAT RACED THE PAST TWO WEEKS. Its fun to train but its even better to get the chance to put it all together and cross that line!
